Its nice to meat you!
We are the Strainge's and our family has been farming on the edge of the Cotswolds in Ducklington for over 150 years. Five generations worth of experience of farming have been handed down from farmer to son to son, to one day maybe even daughter! The farm was in the centre of Ducklington for many years, but as the village grew residentially, thirty years ago we relocated the farm to just on the outskirts, between Ducklington & Curbridge.

In the past Ducklington Farm reared Turkeys, Cockerels, Sheep and raised Cattle & Pigs. Over the more recent years the farm focused more on the rearing of Sheep under Randal's guidance. In the summer of 2018 Randal and his young family moved from the village to farmhouse. Since then the farm continues to embrace changes to evolve to survive in todays' tough agriculture climate. We now have a commercial size flock of Easycare Sheep, a healthy size herd of Boer Goats, a clutch of Laying Hens and we always have a drove or two of Oxford Sandy & Black Pigs.

Working on the farm is more than a job to us, its a way of life for our whole family! Weekends, Christmas, no matter what day of the week we all have our rolls in the day to day running of our Farm. We believe that the animals quality of life is a priority and we always provide a high standard of welfare for all the livestock we are privileged to care for. We like many farms across the country are having to diversify to survive. We have various accommodation options here at Ducklington Farm. Camping & Caravan Site. In 2019 we started selling our own farm reared produce direct to the public and it has proven popular and continues to grow from strength to strength. So much so that to ensure the farm is around to hand down to the daughters.
